I love free online home magazines.  The best thing, besides being free, is the archive section!  This is one of my new favorites.

Update on my love of the melter...still loving it!  Running by Walmart today to buy more scents.  Coming up in the next few weeks I will  be repainting the interior of my home.  The color is called Millet by Duron.  It is one of those colors that takes on the colors of the room.  It sometimes looks tan/cream or it can reflect a yellow tone.  I haven't painted sooner due to vaulted ceilings and a fear of heights.  I am enlisting my husband, who can't stand the smell of paint, to get the job done. 

ScentSationals! No more candles for me.

I was shopping yesterday and talking on the phone with a friend...bad manners...and she told me about these wonderful wax warmers.  They are called ScentSationals.  They make large warmers and plug-in nightlights!!  I am in love with them.

They have a website, but you can buy them at Walmart for only $10.00 and $15.00.  They cost $5.00 more on the website.  They burn wax cubes and Walmart also sells those for only $2.00.  My house smells so good.  I am done with candles that don't always scent my home.  So for around $8.00 a month I can scent my house everyday!  Considering how much a Yankee Candle costs this is a deal.  I am going to be giving them as gifts this year! 

Spring Fashion

Spring is here!!  We had a very short Winter down south.  Summer is going to be HOT!!  Everyone needs to enjoy the mild temperatures while we can.  I am LOVING Emerson Fry!  The clothes are so pretty.

 This is what we now call office attire.  Remember when we wore suits with shoulder pads! 

I am loving this.  Sunday brunch, dinner with friends.  Perfect for so many occasions.

The Summer Book

Susan Branch has been one of my favorite cookbook authors for a while now.  I came across her Christmas book years ago when a book store was going out of business.  Since then I have collected almost all of her books.  She has wonderful stories and home ideas.  Her "Summer Book" has so many wonderful watercolor pictures and recipes in it.  She has a great website too!  She just made it over so it is more interactive.  http://www.susanbranch.com/  You really should stop by and take a look!
